Funding and finance

We aim to make the East of England a better place to be by helping people here achieve their potential.

EEDA isn't, on the whole, a funding organisation. The majority of our budget is allocated in advance to long-term projects delivered through partner and sister organisations.

If you are a public sector partner, click here to find out about our approach to funding.

If you are a business seeking to grow and develop your innovative ideas, then you may be eligible for support from EEDA's Finance for Innovation portfolio. Click here to learn more about business financing.

European and International Funding

EEDA's new international division is responsible for improving the international competitiveness of the East of England through the European funding programes that are available in the region, partnerships and through the development of tools and benchmarking models.

EEDA is responsible for the delivery of a varied and wide-ranging set of European funding programmes. This role allows us to build on the priorities set out in the draft Regional Economic Strategy (RES) and work closely with key regional, national and European partners.
