Marco is the Chair of a group of private family businesses.

Marco is the Chair of a group of diverse private family businesses. He is Chairman of Green Energy Parks Ltd, Peterborough Renewable Energy Limited and holds a number of non-executive directorships including Opportunity Peterborough.

He is Deputy chair of EEDA, Chairman of EEDA’s Performance and Resources Committee and is also co chair of the Europe and International Affairs Panel.

He has worked in the NHS for 25 years and he is a founder chair of the NHS Confederation.  

Marco has been a Conservative Councilor in Peterborough for eight years in total and is presently Council Leader.  

The Italian government has awarded him three major honours - in 1990 he was awarded the rank of "Cavaliere" (Italian Knight) and in 2001 he was awarded the rank of "Cavaliere Ufficiale" (Officer Knight) both in the Order of Merit, more recently he was awarded one of Italy's highest honours La Stella Doro Della Soledarieta Italiana, First Class.
