Developing the considerable talent that we have in our region is one of our key resources in successfully delivering our Regional Economic Strategy and ensuring the region's continued growth and development for the future. With a particular focus on science and innovation, you will take the lead in developing EEDA's strategy, policy and the regional infrastructure required to deliver high level skills, and will evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and evolve the service as required. This role requires an excellent project manager with a sound knowledge of the strategic issues relating to higher level skills development and how they contribute to economic growth. Your inspirational management style will be supported by great communication skills, focussed leadership and the credibility to build lasting relationships with both internal and external partners.
