Selection criteria

Selection amongst candidates will be based on assessment of each candidate's match to the competencies and attributes listed in the job descriptions. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. Further information will be provided if you reach the candidate shortlist.

To support development and lead programme delivery of EEDA's work on high level skills particularly focussing on science, innovation and the infrastructure.  Work to development and deliver the Regional Economic Strategy priority on high level skills and develop EEDA skills strategy, policy and programme activity in the areas of science, innovation and high level skills and regional skills infrastructure.

Day to day management of the Director's office, ensuring that the image and credibility of the organisation is maintained to all external partners and Government Departments. Ensuring  the smooth running of the office and that professional standards are applied and
maintained at all times in all areas of responsibility.

To provide full administrative support for the Legal and Procurement team, ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting delivery of a professional service to internal and external customers.

To provide full secretarial cover for the Head of Skills and Head of Economic Participation, general administrative support to the Skills and Economic Participation Teams and to maintain excellent communications between team members, within EEDA generally and with external skills partners.
