Cultural and green infrastructure

Creating prosperous and popular places is not just about housing and business premises. What gives a place its unique identity are the cultural, leisure and heritage assets that surround it.

It is vital that people have access to facilities and experiences that enrich life and create a sense of wellbeing. EEDA has invested extensively in a diverse range of cultural and environmental projects to preserve what already exists and to create new experiences.

These major investments have usually been made in collaboration with other organisations such as Arts Council England East, the Heritage Lottery Fund, RSPB and the National Trust.

Arts Council England East and EEDA have co-funded a number of projects as part of our joint prospectus.
