What are the big achievements?

  • by the region, for the region - a new economic blueprint, the regional economic strategy - and a new EEDA Corporate Plan that sets out our clear direction to deliver our contribution to meeting its objectives
  • helping the region’s businesses - with focused finance packages and support and advice services to support entrepreneurs and innovators to grow and create new businesses and skilled jobs, and to help our businesses survive the current economic challenges
  • progress on new open innovation science parks, Enterprise Hubs and research and development facilities - in Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Hertfordshire
  • continued commitment to a low-carbon economy - from our successful Cut your Carbon campaign, through to funding new wood fuel and crop-based renewable energy projects.
