Rachel Bosworth
Executive director, communications and deputy chief executive
Rachel Bosworth joined EEDA from Peterborough Council, and is now the executive director, communications and deputy chief executive.
Rachel has led the award winning Demand Broadband campaign, as well as the international Landmark East ideas competition and the groundbreaking investor readiness competition Running the Gauntlet.
Rachel also led on EEDA's 2005 and 2007 Destination Growth events, each bringing hundreds of regional business leaders together at the East of England's biggest ever business event.
The communications directorate works on corporate communications, from publications and press to website, as well as marketing our priorities and the region, supporting our board, liaison with MPs, MEPs, regional bodies such as the East of England Regional Assembly and the Government Office for the East of England, and our partners.
Before joining EEDA, Rachel worked in the public and private sectors, having headed Peterborough City Council's corporate communications and marketing department and managed public affairs for the South West and London for Railtrack. Rachel is a qualified journalist and member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
