EEDA is one of nine English regional development agencies (RDAs) established through the Regional Development Agencies Act 1998.
EEDA’s Accountability and Financial Framework forms part of the RDA Sponsorship Framework. It is drawn up by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) in conjunction with EEDA.
