Regional networks
EEDA supports a number of regional networks, enabling them to provide capacity building and advocacy for third sector organisations.
Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE)
SEEE's aim is to support and promote the region's social enterprise sector as a valuable part of the regional economy and means of significant social impact. It also has a strategic influence on national, regional and local policy relating to social enterprise. Read our SEEE case study, or click here to visit the SEEE website.
Community and Voluntary Forum Eastern Region (COVER)
COVER works to enhance the activities of the regional community and voluntary sector by coordinating projects and partnerships, encouraging funding into the sector, developing supportive policies and representing the sector's interests to regional agencies and national government. Click here to visit the COVER website.
East of England Black and Minority Ethnic Network (MENTER)
MENTER is the regional network for black and minority ethnic (BME) voluntary organisations and communities. It aims to develop the BME sector, promote race equality and act as the regional advocate for BME groups. Click here to visit the MENTER website.
East of England Faiths Council
Faith groups play an important role in helping people, particularly those facing social and economic disadvantage, to participate in the economy. EEDA is supporting the Faiths Council to increase the capacity of faith-based organisations to access contracts from the public sector. EEDA's funding also supports the development of Faithnet East, a programme to assist learning and networking between faith groups. Click here to visit the Faiths Council website.
Rural Action East
Rural Action East is the regional network for Rural Community Councils (RCCs). It aims to support and develop vibrant communities that enhance the quality of life for all rural residents. It acts to influence policies and strategies at all levels for the benefit of rural communities. Click here to visit the Rural Action East website.
