Innovation Day 2009
2 April 2009
Does your company need to get innovative in order to get through the recession? Innovation Day could be the place to start to find the answers to your companies needs.
Innovation Day on Thursday 2 April, 9am - 5pm at Basepoint Innovation and Business Centre, Luton, includes high-calibre speakers, practical short sessions on innovation in business, designed to help businesses overcome the recession, along with a variety of stands from businesses in the region.
The day will also see the launch of Butterfield Enterprise Hub, which will bring high-quality support for innovation and growth to businesses in the region.
The finale of the event will be a presentation by our special guest speaker, famous inventor, Mr. Trevor Baylis OBE, on motivating small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs to focus on invention and innovation to sustain their competitiveness and grow their businesses.
SME’s are entitled to a stand, free of charge, to promote the benefits of their business to attendees, providing excellent opportunities to engage with delegates and further opportunities to network and collaborate with other SMEs exhibiting. As there is limited space for stands we are operating a ‘first come first served’ therefore applicants are encouraged to confirm attendance as soon as possible. There will also be limited seat availability at Mr. Baylis’ presentation therefore it is advisable to confirm reservation to secure a place at the same time.
