Migrant worker availability in the East of England

This report from the Insitute of Public Policy Research (ippr) was commissioned by EEDA to assess the role of migration in the economy of the East of England and the potential risks of any change in the availability of migrant labour.

ippr's research reveals the nature of migration to the East of England, the experiences of migrant workers and their economic impact in the region. It also considers the possible effects of recession and future scenarios of changing patterns of migration.
