Campaigns and marketing
EEDA produces a number of campaigns to support, promote and better the region. These are just some of the campaigns we are presently focusing on.
Cut your Carbon
Cut your Carbon is a three-year campaign and £2.5 million funding competition that aims to bring together communities in the East of England to tackle climate change. Groups taking part will be able to measure their carbon footprint, become more energy efficient, and seek to win EEDA match funding of up to £200,000 for projects that apply fresh thinking to cutting carbon emissions.
takeITon
takeITon is a major initiative designed to help boost the productivity of businesses in the region through improved use of IT.
The takeITon programme will see a package of practical and financial support measures delivered to businesses in the region over a three year period. The programme is driven by a recognition that a strong IT infrastructure for the region is critical to improving the productivity and efficiency both of individual businesses and for the prosperity of the region as a whole.
Enterprise Road
Enterprise Road is a year-long project bringing together entrepreneurs and support providers to share their success stories of overcoming barriers to enterprise. Through these discussions the project will identify the emerging lessons of good practice and form lasting networks for the sharing of ideas.

Routes to growth
EEDA is driving a region-wide campaign to ensure that key decision-makers recognise the level of investment that is needed to develop a sustainable transport network capable of supporting the growing East of England region which is currently the third largest contributor region to the UK economy as a whole.
See the Routes to growth page under Regional Infrastructure.
Space for ideas
The East of England - space for ideas campaign has focused on building awareness of the East of England by capturing the region's track record as a place where ideas and ingenuity lead to business success.
