Business intermediaries update

Intermediaries working with businesses in the region and providers of business support are invited to an update event to hear more detail about the business support initiatives that are due to go live over the coming weeks.
We know that access to finance is a major issue for businesses and we will be announcing some changes to our Finance for Innovation portfolio as well as giving you more detail on recent changes. You can hear more about the Train to Gain service, announced by government, and how we are working with the Learning Skills Council and Job Centre Plus to enhance the regional skills offer and support businesses that have to make redundancies.
We will also be in a position to give details of the new Integrated Specialist Business Support Programme which includes the Manufacturing Advisory Service, Designing Demand and the Innovation Advisory Service.
The event will start at 1.15pm, with registration and lunch from 12.30pm, and will conclude at 4pm.
