Launch of the 2009 European Satellite Navigation Challenge

You are invited to the UK Launch of the 2009 European Satellite Navigation Challenge (Galileo Masters) - now in its fifth year.

This event is a must if you consider yourself:

  • an innovator/entrepreneur
  • previous entrant
  • investor, business angel
  • involved in location based services utilising satellite technology.

It specialises in downstream space activities that improve our way of life via commercial success - from mobile phones systems to tracking improvements for vulnerable people. Click here yo view last years winners.

It will help develop all ideas involving satellite positioning technology and delivers:

  • cash prizes for both general and special topics from the likes of ESA, GSA, T-Mobile, DLR and Nokia
  • international publicity and exposure via major player website
  • IP advice on idea protection
  • business strategy assistance for access to finance 
  • a driver to commercialisation.

2008 saw the UK winning company Sci-Tech Systems, beat more than 290 other ideas to be crowned the overall Galileo Master and the competitions first triple winner for 2008 with a Person Overboard System.
