The UK Research Office, acting as the UK National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Research Council is working with institutions across the UK to hold a series of information events for UK based researchers wanting to apply for the ERC Starting Grants
Who should attend?
UK based researchers planning to submit a proposal for the ERC Starting Grants, who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the proposal format and its key issues.
Event details
Sessions will be held at different venues around the country:
- University of Sheffield, Thursday 3 September 2009
- Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Monday 7 September 2009
- Royal Veterinary College, University of London, Monday 14 September 2009
- University of Cambridge, Monday 21 September 2009
- Brunel University, London, Tuesday 22 September 2009
Two identical sessions will be held at each venue, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please note it is only neccessary to attend one session.
Morning session:
The morning session will start at 09:30 promptly (with registration from 09:10) and close at 13:15.
Afternoon session:
The afternoon session will start at 14:00 promptly (with registration from 13:40) and close at 17:45.
Attendance will be free of charge, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
