EEDA provides economic leadership to the region, working closely with regional and local partners to ensure investment decisions are based on sound evidence.
Regional leadership features
A crucial part of our role is working with partners. EEDA is uniquely placed to bring private and public, regional and local partners together to address the region’s biggest challenges and secure its economic future.
EEDA, on behalf of the region, also leads on the development of the regional economic strategy - essentially a blueprint for the region’s future economic success through to 2031.
Insight East is the region’s economic intelligence centre. It provides easy to digest information about the economy to help EEDA and partners make better informed investment decisions.
