A skilled workforce is an adaptable workforce. That’s why EEDA offers a range of support to businesses looking to strengthen their employees through skills training.
Train to Gain
Train to Gain offers funding to businesses who want to improve their workforce’s basic skills levels in numeracy and literacy.
The government has announced the closure of the Train to Gain service which will end on 31 July 2011.

Beyond 2010
EEDA's £2.2 million Beyond 2010 programme helps businesses give staff new skills to move forward. Businesses can contact specialist sector advisors who are able to discuss training needs and agree with the business which training course will best meet their needs. Up to 70% of the cost of training is available from EEDA and the European Social Fund. Interested? Find out more.
