This year the Programme is also delivering SME supply chain innovation programmes in offshore wind and biorenewables (low carbon), low carbon vehicles and low carbon buildings. More details to follow shortly.
EEDA funds a wide range of business support to assist businesses developing innovative low carbon technologies and processes. This includes:
- East of England International (EEI) - helping businesses set up and increase the export of services and products
- Business Finance - financial support for businesses
- Renewables East - the agency for renewable energy
- EEDA Enterprise Hub Network - driving innovation by bringing knowledge-based businesses together.
The East of England Low Carbon Innovation - Evidence Base has been commissioned to inform future Programme development, providing a full economic evidence base of low carbon innovation in the East of England. It will be available here early 2010.
