Low carbon technologies and products

InCrops

InCrops is EEDA’s Enterprise Hub for Non-Food Crops, based at the Norwich Research Park. InCrops aims to build upon and expand the business support and commercialisation opportunities in the alternative and non-food crops sector in the East of England. Working within the theme of low carbon economic growth for the East of England, this virtual enterprise hub promotes crop derived bio-renewable near market research, supply chain development and product development through to destination with local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Peterborough EnviroCluster

Greater Peterborough contains over 350 companies in low carbon technologies and products, which employ more than 4,000 people - this makes up the Peterborough EnviroCluster. To build on this cluster, EEDA has invested in Peterborough Eco-Innovation Centre Phase 1, linking in with Peterborough City Council’s ‘Environment City’ ambitions. This refurbishment of Peters Court was launched on 3 April 2008. It is an incubation centre for knowledge based SMEs focussed on low carbon technologies and products and is operated by the Centre for Sustainable Engineering.
