Future of low carbon delivery in the East of England
Tackling climate change is one of the most fundamental problems facing society today on a global basis and represents a huge commercial opportunity for the region.
There have been significant changes in national low carbon strategy over the past year. These developments have dramatically changed the national delivery landscape and provide the opportunity to review the impact of these changes on regional delivery.
The below consultation paper outlines the strategic context at national and regional level, sets out a number of functions that could be provided to ensure regional delivery and analyses existing service gaps and overlaps.
EEDA is seeking the views of businesses and stakeholders in the region on future low carbon strategic priorities and key delivery functions for the region.
The closing date for responses to the consultation is 11 December 2009.
