Fixed Term for approximately 12 months, Covering Norfolk and Suffolk
This is an exciting opportunity within the newly created Norfolk and Suffolk Area Team to provide day to day support to the team, including on economic policy and programme delivery.
You will have a strong understanding of strategy development and policy and research, which will enable you to contribute to the development of the area programme and the Single Regional Strategy and associated delivery plan.
Utilising your excellent communication skills you will work alongside EEDA colleagues in monitoring the impact of EEDA’s programme in the sub region. In carrying out this role you will work closely with EEDA’s Strategy and Intelligence directorate and Insight East, responding to policy queries as they arise, and actively developing relationships with the sub-regional research and policy community.
You will play a major role in EEDA’s support for the development of Local Economic Assessments, led by the Strategy and Intelligence team and any associated analysis. In addition you will use your sound knowledge of economic policy and excellent analytical skills to provide economic analysis and Freedom of Information request responses.
