The Carbon Trust has announced the launch of the Entrepreneurs Fast Track
The Entrepreneurs Fast Track will provide top clean tech ventures with a customised package of grants, advice and networking opportunities.
The Entrepreneurs Fast Track will provide top clean tech ventures with a customised package made up of:
• research and development grant funding (up to £500k)
• expert advice (up to £70k)
• enhanced networking opportunities.
It will replace the Applied Research and Incubation programmes and will be closely linked to The Carbon Trust’s venture capital investment activities.
The principal aim of the Entrepreneurs Fast Track is to bridge a critical funding gap by helping companies transition from high risk start-ups to attractive investment propositions.
The Entrepreneurs Fast Track was developed after consultation with 400 of Britain’s emerging low carbon technology companies and has been welcomed by business leaders, including James Dyson, the business angel community and the UK Government.
