As part of its Regional Renaissance programme, EEDA is funding firstsite:newsite, a purpose-built centre for the visual arts in the St. Botolph's area of Colchester.
Due to open in 2008, it has been designed by an internationally renowned architect and will be the first public building erected in Colchester for over a century. It will become the focus for the economic regeneration of the area.
