North Suffolk Skills Centre
EEDA is working to increase skill levels within the workforce of rural north Suffolk by supporting a new vocational training centre.
The North Suffolk Skills Centre (NSSC) in Halesworth helps local young people step outside their usual school curriculum to gain Level 1 skills in careers as diverse as vehicle maintenance, hairdressing and catering. NSSC provides a progression route to further education or training at Level 2 and above, which some might not otherwise go on to.
