More information about the freedom of information act
The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 received Royal Assent on 30 November 2000 with implications for the way regional development agencies are required to give access to all types of recorded information.
An important feature of the Act is the requirement for each public authority to produce a publication scheme setting out what information it will publish as a matter of course.
