The Leader approach
Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) funding totalling in excess of £21 million has been allocated between now and the end of 2013 to seven Local Action Groups (LAG) across the East of England through the Leader approach.
The Leader approach to the delivery of the RDPE funding is where a local partnership, called a Local Action Group plays a key role in identifying and funding projects which meet local priorities and needs.
