How to access funding

In order to ensure fairness, openness, and transparency, all of EEDA's ESF provision - including match activity - will be offered through an open and competitive tendering process.

This process is a competition for providers to tender for a grant to carry out the activity as specified in the tender specification. All invitations to tender and other relevant documentation will be published on this website.

Applicants should look carefully at invitations to tender to determine whether their applications will be eligible for this funding activity and whether the services they propose specifically meet the criteria set out in the activity specifications. To encourage co-operation between activities, and to enable the sharing of best practice, EEDA plans to hold quarterly meetings among all the successful applicants during their projects' lifecycles.

The activities in this round plan to address the two 'Priorities' set by the ESF Regional Framework. These priorities are:

1.  Extending employment opportunities
2.  Developing a skilled and adaptable workforce

EEDA published its Co-financing Prospectus on the 25 February 2008. To download the prospectus and other relevant documentation, please visit the ESF key documents section.
