Coming next - Karren Brady, managing director Birmingham City Football Club

On 4 March 2008 the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) will host the sixth in our series of ideas talks aimed at giving you, leaders of the region's most ambitious small and medium enterprises, the tools and inspiration you need to grow your business.

Karren Brady will be joining us to share her invaluable experience of turning Birmingham City Football Club's fortunes around from a club in administration to a thriving business.

In February 1997 the club launched on the stock market making Karren the youngest managing director of a PLC in the UK.

In March 2007 Karren led the winning team on BBC1's Comic Relief does the Apprentice, raising over £750,000 for the charity. Karren is the author of 'Playing to Win' , which gives an insight into what makes a successful businesswoman.
