The East of England Development Agency (EEDA) is the driving force behind sustainable economic growth and regeneration in the East of England. As part of the regional economic strategy, EEDA is committed to supporting the region in becoming a leading location for starting and growing businesses.
Through Enterprise Road, EEDA aims to enhance the effectiveness of early-enterprise support across the region and to identify best practice to guide its own future investment.
About The Ideas Mine
Enterprise Road is being run in association with The Ideas Mine, a research agency specialising in enterprise. The team involved in Enterprise Road includes:
- John Sargent: programme director
- Caroline Theobold: an expert in leading participatory learning networks and holder of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion 2007
- Vanessa Hogbin: former National Policy Director for the Small Business Service
- Eileen Lennon: Chief Executive Officer of incredit, a social enterprise support agency
