EEDA's international strategy builds on the priorities set out in the regional economic strategy (RES) - specifically to increase the level of foreign investment and international trade to boost the region's economy and to engage effectively with international issues and ensure the continued competitiveness of the region.
EEDA is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of European funding programmes and promotes regional engagement in others. This role allows us to build on the priorities set out in the regional economic strategy (RES) and work closely with key regional, national and European partners.
