Monitoring

Performance framework

Local and sub-regional contributions to RES outcomes

Key elements of the RES will be delivered at the sub-regional and local levels through Local Area Agreements (LAAs) and, in future, Multi Area Agreements.

The tables on this page provide the spatial dimension of the RES monitoring and performance framework. In doing so, they link regional outcomes to regional core indicators, which will also be monitored at the sub-regional level where data allow. These are linked to local outcomes by mapping onto the national set of indicators for LAAs. This framework is intended to support the selection of national indicators and the development of local indicators and targets to measure progress against LAA economic priorities.
